TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police will today interrogate musician Ahmad Dhani as witness in treason case involving activist Sri Bintang Pamungkas. Police will also question two others, namely Buni Yani and Permadi today.
Police, however, declined comment on the correlation between the three and Sri Bintang. “Investigators have their own reasoning… maybe investigators know that they have info about it [treason],” Jakarta Metro Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono told Tempo on Friday, December 16.
Permadi was the only person to have shown up at Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters. Argo said that Permadi arrived at Criminal Investigation Unit in the morning.
As for Buni Yani, Argo said that he had asked police to reschedule the questioning. Buni Yani today undergoes the pretrial phase at South Jakarta District Court over libel case in which he has been named suspect.
Argo said that he had yet to receive any information about Ahmad Dhani. Dhani had yet to show up at Jakarta Metro Police HQ.
Jakarta Metro Police have named eight suspects over treason case. However, they have detained Sri Bintang Pamungkas only.
